Gordian Cancelled.
Gordian is cancelled for the foreseeable future.

Essentially the venue management have had a better offer from an alternative club and have decided to drop Gordian.

I'll be looking for a new venue in the meantime.

Other than that, thanks to all those that have supported Gordian over the past 8 months!

Gordian Cancelled!
Due to a cock up by the management we've been doubled booked into The London Stone this month. The other party have paid a lot of money and been setting up for hours so I've had no choice but to defer to them.

Essentially this month GORDIAN IS CANNCELED

Please spread the word!

O hai Gordian!
To celebrate Gordian moving to it's new 3rd week of the month slot (so as not to conflict with Goth festivals, boat parties, Christmas and other stuff) I had a new flyer design commissioned:

Design by andyravensable

To celebrate the creation of this unique visual assault on your peripheral field of vision, 10,000 limited edition copies will be distributed around London *absolutely free* over the next few months. Be sure to grab yours when you see them!

Gordian itself will once again rise from the London Lite carpeted streets of the city this Saturday the 15th September 2007 to once again bring you the best in all forms of alternative music.

Either that or the DJs will do their best to make sure music is played whilst they attempt to drink as much as possible. No bands this month either. Probably for the best.

[Photos] Gordian on 25th August
Not a great number of people on Saturday, possibly due to the bands and it being a Bank Holiday weekend, against other events, but some good tunes were played, and replicantlizard gets kudos for his seamless mixing of Manowar (bar manager's request) into some EBM, and some opportunities to take snaps around the Eerie Pub Co's interior designers' fine work ...

August Gordian & Unsigned Bands
Weather getting you down? Too broke to go to Infest?

Cheer up Goth! It's another Gordian!

With DJs bluehelen, replicantlizard and myself.

This month is a little bit special because it's the bank holiday, we're opening a little earlier and we have 3 unsigned bands playing! The London Stone will open at 7pm for some unsigned band action and then the regular club night will commence at 9pm*. Don't ask me who the bands are. I don't know! We're still sorting things out! It's crazy! But they could be good!

*I'm still quite new at this promoting thingy and things may not go to plan, but theoretically the bands start at 7pm and the club starts at 9pm.
Feel free to come along just to watch it descend into disorganised chaos!

Gordian - July 2007
Gordian is this coming Saturday 28th July 2007! This month we have 3 guest DJs to keep you entertained into the small hours!

bluehelenBlue Helen is back again to play an eclectic mix of rock, indie rock, pop rock and general non-category rock.

tgaThe Gay American (or TGA for short) comes from The Night Nurse Show and will be bringing the \m/ METAL \m/ down upon us.

Also, replicantlizardReplicant Lizard will be along to provide a dark and moody selection of Goth and other dark alternative treats.

And if that isn't enough I will of course be there to fill in the gaps with my usual mix of rather unusual music!
